    Background<\/h2><\/div>

    Dhoho International Airport is new airport currently under construction at Kediri.<\/p>\n

    MSE Steep Slope was constructed for West and East slope of Dhoho International Airport.<\/p>\n

    Parts of MSE Steep Slope were damaged due to fire and pouring concrete. About 700 m2 area facia of MSE Steep Slope needs to be repaired<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Challenge<\/h2><\/div>

    Geogrid and geobag at facia are completely damaged and reach to geogrid inside the backfill. \u00a0This weakens the stability at facia and left no facia protection against surface erosion issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The big challenge is to have friction of soil nail in the backfill material without grout. Grout cannot be used to due to the nature condition of granular backfill. Soil nail shall be installed long enough to obtain sufficient friction.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Solution<\/h2><\/div>

    ReCo provides engineering and construction to restore the facia stability and yet improve the surface erosion on the facia.
